About Timill
What is Timill?
Timill is a work management platform that keeps an organization aligned and up to date. Teams use it to model their work, track items across stages, automate routine steps, and share live dashboards with everyone who needs to see them.
Who is Timill for?
Timill fits teams and organizations that have outgrown spreadsheets or generic project tools and need something configurable to their own workflow. It is used by operations, legal, finance, product, and field teams that want one shared source of truth.
What is the difference between Timill Teams and Timill Pro?
Timill Teams is for a single group with its own workspace. Timill Pro is for organizations that need several connected groups, single sign-on, cross-group links, and a dedicated instance.
Where is Timill based?
Timill is built by Timill Ab Oy, registered in Vaasa, Finland. The product is used by organizations across Europe and beyond.
Pricing and plans
How much does Timill cost?
Timill Teams Free is free for up to 5 users. Timill Teams Plus is €5 per user per month, or €50 per user per year (two months free). Timill Pro Cloud starts at €25 per named user per month, with custom plans for larger deployments.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Timill Teams Free supports up to 5 users in one group with a generous set of features. No credit card is required to start.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Plus at any time, and move from Teams to Pro when your organization needs connected groups or a dedicated instance.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available on Plus and Pro plans and includes a two-month discount compared with monthly billing.
Security, data, and European sovereignty
Is Timill a European platform?
Yes. Timill is a European sovereign work management platform. We are based in Vaasa, Finland, and our infrastructure is European by default. We do not use non-EU data centers for customer data.
Where is my data hosted?
Timill Cloud runs on Hetzner, with Helsinki as the default location. On Hetzner we can deploy your workspace in any of their European locations, including Germany and Finland. Customer data, backups, and processing stay in the European Union. For Timill Pro Custom we can also deploy on-premise or on any other cloud provider you choose, including French, German, or other European sovereign clouds.
Does any part of Timill rely on non-EU services?
Our application stack and storage are fully European, with no non-EU servers involved. The only exceptions are unavoidable third parties: Stripe for self-serve payments (contracted through its Irish entity), and Apple Push Notification Service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for mobile push, because those are the only providers each mobile platform allows. On Android we also support UniPush as an open, sovereign alternative. Pro Cloud and Custom Services customers can opt for direct invoicing from Finland and bypass Stripe entirely.
What about AI features?
Timill uses Mistral by default for AI features, so your AI requests stay within Europe. Timill Pro Custom customers can bring their own provider, including a self-hosted model, an on-premise inference server, or any other vendor that fits their compliance requirements.
Is Timill GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Timill is built and operated in line with GDPR. A data processing agreement is available to all paying customers on request.
Who can see my data?
Only people you grant access can see your data. Timill supports built-in roles on every plan and fine-grained access control on Plus and Pro.
